    THE CREATION

    Created by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, Herm&a;egrave;s&a;rsquo; first fragrance for women, Cal&a;egrave;che, was reinterpreted in 1992 as Cal&a;egrave;che Soie de Parfum, the name of which refers to the horse-drawn carriages that are emblematic of the house and its silk m&a;eacute;tier.

    &a;nbsp;

    OLFACTORY NOTES

    Floral with aldehyde aromas, Cal&a;egrave;che Soie de Parfum combines the refined notes of aldehyde with opulent jasmine and generous rose.

    THE OBJECT

    The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The back label is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.

    THE PARFUMS-FONDATEURS COLLECTION

    The Parfums-Fondateurs collection draws inspiration from the house&a;rsquo;s heritage. Each creation encapsulates Herm&a;egrave;s&a;rsquo; imaginary world in a name, a fragrance and a colour. Over the years, Herm&a;egrave;s has pioneered a bold style of perfumery, resulting from encounters with exceptional perfumers.

    &a;nbsp;

    Written in 1961 by Guy Robert, Cal&a;egrave;che was Herm&a;egrave;s&s; first fragrance for women. A highly feminine, woody, chypre floral, its name refers to the horse-drawn carriages that are emblematic of the house. Cal&a;egrave;che is a novel that dazzles with the beauty of its raw materials, from the joyfulness of citrus fruit to the modernity of aldehyde notes; from the floral heart embellished with ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine to the woody, chypre sillage underscored by the nobility of the iris.
